Don’t Order from Safeway.com! Safeway.com sucks.
So, June 17, I was supposed to get my grocery delivery from Safeway.com
between 5pm and 7pm. Nothing. At about 9pm, I get a call saying the driver had
been in an accident. So I said can you deliver it tomorrow. Sure she says. So,
between 5pm and 7pm, I wait. Nothing. Not even a call this time. By the time I call
them, they are closed. I call the next day, and she confirmed the re-order was
sent out. However, today it’s been cancelled. Not only has it been cancelled, now
I have to wait “7 to 10 business days” to get my money back. That’s 290 bucks.
So, I have no groceries and now I have no money to buy groceries. WTF!
Now, here it is, July 7, 3 weeks later, and I STILL do not have my money back. I’ve
called three times now, including today, and the store still has not even
processed it. So, DO NOT ORDER FROM SAFEWAY.COM! If I ever get my money
back, I’m ordering from Peapod. UPDATE: It took nearly 6 weeks but I got my
money.

admit that I'm picky on a lot of stuff (comes with age). I will only play/run in
GURPS, and only enjoy psudo-contemporary or Sci-Fi genres. I do not play Supers
(never grew up with comic books) and do not play Fantasy (never a fan Lord of the
Rings). I will also only play with intelligent folks, who's goal is to simply have some
fun (not get hampered by rules or egos). I've played for years, I've played many
characters:
a gun-loving, karate-kicking super spy chick in 2370
a Napoleonic-era British Naval Captain in 1811
an ex-marine turned vampire in Washington, DC in 1997
a military space mech pilot in 2280
a retired Texas Ranger in 1885
