Bridge Command Specialist (BCS) Certification
The Bridge Command Specialist certification certifies that this officer can operate any
station on the bridge. This is simply a curriculum-based test set on a list of merits and
established skill levels. This certification is not required for any position in Starfleet,
nor does it serve as a prerequisite for any other certification. It is merely an
established certification to gauge the knowledge of bridge officers and can have an
influence on being selected for leadership positions. Having this certification has
game-impacting bonuses, especially during combat.
